CERTIFIED ETIQUETTE COACH AND CONSULTANT

Feel free to reach out
For years I worked as a senior leader in Human Resources integrating organizational development, leadership coaching, and equity. I spent my career inside organizations, watching people navigate the real, human, sometimes messy work of building trust, communicating under pressure, and showing up for one another. I loved that work. And I was good at it.

But something kept nagging at me.

Again and again, I saw talented candidates who could not quite close the distance between their abilities and the impression they made. I watched employees struggle to build the kinds of relationships that lead to real opportunity, not because they lacked intelligence or drive, but because nobody had ever taught them the foundational social skills that make people feel at ease, respected, and valued. The soft skills, though I have never loved that term, because there is nothing soft about knowing how to show up with confidence and grace.

At the same time, I was raising children. And as a mother, I was watching something shift in the way young people interacted with each other and with adults. The easy courtesies, the genuine eye contact, the small but meaningful acts of respect and consideration, were quietly disappearing. It concerned me. It still does.

Those two observations, one professional and one deeply personal, pointed me in the same direction.
I did not set out to become an etiquette coach. But looking back, it was always where I was headed.

Where it all comes together

My husband is a mental health therapist with his own practice, and between the two of us, we have spent a lot of years thinking about what makes human relationships work. What we keep coming back to is this: civility, kindness, empathy, and a genuine regard for other people are not nice-to-haves. They are the foundation of everything. Healthy workplaces. Strong families. Communities where people actually trust each other.

Etiquette, at its best, is the practical expression of all of those values. It is not about rigid rules or impressing the right people. It is about equipping yourself with the skills and the confidence to connect authentically with anyone, in any setting.

That is what I teach. And it is work I believe in with my whole heart.

What I bring to this work

I bring the perspective of an HR leader who has sat across the table from hundreds of people and understands what builds trust and what quietly erodes it. I bring the eye of a mother who cares deeply about the world her children are inheriting. I bring the curiosity of someone who finds the social science behind human behavior genuinely fascinating, and who loves making it accessible and useful for real life.

And I bring a modern, warm, and practical approach to etiquette that meets people exactly where they are.

Whether you are stepping into a new professional role, preparing your child for the social world ahead, hosting your first dinner party, or working to build a more respectful culture inside your organization, I would love to work alongside you.

Good manners are not about perfection. They are about connection. And connection, as it turns out, changes everything.

I offer etiquette coaching, courses, workshops, and consulting for children, teens, college students, adults, and organizations. Business etiquette, dining etiquette, social etiquette, and more.
